Conflict of interest between Pharma and American doctors exposed.

Pharma and Doctors Linked to Big Money

Unipathic Medicine has known for some time now that doctors and the pharmaceutical companies have been profiting from each other. The extent of just how much money is being exchanged between the two has recently been revealed thanks to the Physician Payments Sunshine provision of the Affordable Care Act, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). According to Reuters, “U.S. doctors and teaching hospitals received $3.5 billion from pharmaceutical companies and medical device makers in the last five months of 2013, according to the most extensive data trove on such payments ever made public.” This is unacceptable. Clearly there is a conflict of interest here between why pharmaceutical drugs are chosen as the mainstream mode of treatment in America by doctors and it explains why the current system is the way it is. Unipathic Medicine changes all that by not bending knee to pharmaceutical companies. Drugs have their uses, we are not disputing that, but the facts are clear; the drug model that is latent in conventional medicine for the treatment of chronic disease and cancer today is not about helping cure people, it is about treating people endlessly so money can be made. Unipathic Medicine seeks to counter this.

At Unipathic Medicine, the goal is to heal the patient and rid them of their cancer or chronic disease – not just to treat, manage or provide palliative care for them. This is approached by analyzing the molecular, genetic, and environmental factors that are influencing the disease, which is what we call the “medical blueprint.” After a thorough analysis, a construction of treatment follows. Treatments vary depending on the condition and what works best for that particular patient. No two cases of the same disease are truly identical; there are always unique occurrences and expressions in a specific patient. Also, what works best for one patient does not always work best for another. A good example of this can be found by looking at what type of chemotherapy is used by a doctor or medical facility. Our Genetically Targeted Fractionated Chemotherapy is based off of genetics and biomarkers, and the particular chemo agent that is used varies from patient to patient. It also features a micro dose that is easier on the immune system. GTFC is not the best for everyone, and some actually benefit from the stronger more traditional side of chemo. As you can see, every patient is different and every case of disease is different. Because of this, Unipathic Medicine seeks to offer the patient the best personalized treatment from all over the world, while ensuring the best science and evidence based medicine gets to the physician at the clinical level with the utmost quality control.
